Wi-Fi challenge for Lambeau

GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The Packers say they're always focused on improving the fan experience at Lambeau Field.

Now, the NFL is pushing the team to do more.

The league wants teams to offer Wi-Fi inside stadiums by the end of the 2014 season.

A spokesman for the packers says bringing that type of technology to Lambeau is going to be a challenge.

"The way Wi-Fi coverage works is completely different than cell and the structure of our bowl. The wide open bowl is even more of a challenge with Wi-Fi. So it is just something we need to continue to evaluate," said Packers' spokesman Aaron Popkey.

The team says it has improved cell phone service at the stadium, boosting it for Verizon and AT&T customers.
