MADISON -- The Badgers held their annual Red/White Scrimmage at the Kohl Center on Saturday with the Red squad earning the 67-65 win.
Behind a 16-point performance from senior Ben Brust, the Red Squad held off a late run from the White team, which was led by sophomore Sam Dekker, who scored 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting, while adding four assists and two rebounds.
The Red team had four double-figure scorers. Aside from Brust, sophomore George Marshall (14), junior Josh Gasser (11) and senior Zach Bohannon (10) all scored in double digits for the winners.
Junior Frank Kaminsky added 16 points for the White squad, while sophomore Zak Showalter rounded out the double-figure scoring with 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field.
