Live radio drama comes alive with "The Haunting of Hill House"

MADISON (WKOW) -- Get ready to be scared with a live radio Halloween drama.

"The Haunting of Hill House," a live radio drama adapted by Heartline Theatricals, is based on the 1959 novel by Shirley Jackson, considered to be one of the best ghost stories of the 20th century.

The radio play will be performed as if in a 1940s Radio Studio by a troupe of approximately five actors, and will be followed by a brief discussion of American radio drama, the genre of suspense, and the work of Shirley Jackson.

Come prepared to be spooked by the paranormal in this great American ghost story! The performance will be at Sequoya Branch Library on Tuesday, October 29th at 7:00 p.m.
