"Imagination Celebration" shows off creativity in Waunakee


WAUNAKEE (WKOW) -- Waunakee is showing off its creative side with "Imagination Celebration" this Sunday.

Dozens of artists, musicians, photographers, craftsmen, dancers and others will have their work on display. The event is Sunday, November 3 at Waunakee Community High School. 

Here is the schedule of events, from the City of Waunakee's website:

Noon - 4 pm: The public is invited to view and participate in Imagination Celebration activities, including

  • The Exhibit Hall
    • 64 Exhibits, Demonstrations and Food Vendors to explore and enjoy
  • Demonstrations 
    • Elizabeth Ann Teeter, watercolor artist, will be painting onsite
    • Keith Krinke - handmade fishing lures activity for youth
    • Mill House Quilts - display of raffle quilt and quilting demonstration
    • Murphy Carpentry - wood veneer demonstration
    • Nana's Newborns - attaching hair to realistic baby dolls 
    • Gladys Greiger - painting demonstration
    • Stranded in the Beads - beaded and wire-wrapped jewelry demonstration
  • Waunakee Schools Art Exhibits - enjoy displays of student work throughout the Exhibit Hall
