Honda recalls 344,000 Odyssey minivans

Posted:

WKOW -- Honda is recalling 344,000 vehicles worldwide for an issue with a sensor.

Honda officials say the problem in the 2007 and 2008 Odyssey minivans can cause the vehicle to brake on its own.

To fix the problem, owners will need to obtain a new sensor that's not available until 2014. Until then, Honda suggests drivers start the minivans with the wheels facing straight ahead, allowing the system to properly calibrate.

The company says the issue has not led to any crashes or injuries.
