Rescued Cornell couple to be on Good Morning America Wednesday

Posted:

Western Wisconsin (WQOW) - The story of a rescued couple from Cornell is now a national headline.

Mark and Kristine Wathke will be on Good Morning America Wednesday.  They were on vacation when they ended up on a closed road in Wyoming and their vehicle got stuck in the snow.  They were stranded for several days until a lodge owner rescued them Monday morning.

On Monday, Eau Claire's Own News 18 spoke with the man who rescued them, but we still haven't heard from Mark or Kristine.  We'll hear the story from them Wednesday morning on GMA right after Daybreak.
