Heidi Bohl

Heidi Bohl joins Eau Claire's Own WQOW News 18 after spending 7 years at WEAU in Eau Claire. Heidi graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in May of 2007 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She worked part-time in the sports department at WEAU before being hired full-time as a photojournalist. In February 2008, she began reporting and producing. In August 2009, she took over duties as the Assignment Desk Manager/Web. Heidi began anchoring WQOW's Daybreak show in December 2013.
Heidi grew up on a farm in Tilden, which is north of Chippewa Falls. She attended Chippewa schools and now lives with her family in the Village of Lake Hallie. She has two boys, Logan, who was born in December 2009 and Kellen, who was born in August 2012. She also has a yellow lab named Abby.
When Heidi's not at work, she loves spending time with her very active boys, reading, and baking. She also is an avid sports fan, playing on several softball and volleyball teams in the area. She also has coached 8th grade volleyball for several years.
