Saggy pants leads to a battery charge for Madison man

MADISON (WKOW) -- A violation of dress code at a Madison tavern leads to battery charges against a patron.

Early Friday morning, Theodore Taylor, 23, became confrontational after being asked to leave Whiskey Jacks because of a dress code violation.  A 26-year-old bouncer asked Taylor to leave as he was "sagging" his pants, exposing his boxers.

Taylor then punched the State Street bouncer in the face.  A second bouncer ran over and got Taylor to the ground, holding him until police arrived.

Taylor was arrested for battery and on a warrant.
