White Closing Senior Season Strong

Madison (WQOW) -- Saturday's win over BYU helped the Wisconsin football team move up two spots in the latest BCS standings to 22nd.

Wisconsin's winning effort was led by senior tailback James White. He rushed for two scores and caught another, racking up 194 all-purpose yards. The performance makes back-to-back big games for the senior, who's making sure his last few games count.

"It's definitely going by fast for me, but at the same time, I'll take it one week, one game at a time. You have to cherish these moments, you don't get them back," says White.

Head coach Gary Andersen adds: "He loves Wisconsin, he loves his teammates. There's no doubt about it. He does see the time ticking on him day by day and I think it gives kids an edge, especially when you're a senior."

Next up for White and the Badgers is a showdown with Indiana.
