Madison teen stopped for driving 100 mph; arrested for DUI

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Dane County Traffic Team deputy clocked a driver at 100 mph on the westbound Beltline near Rimrock Road Sunday morning.

The motorist was stopped around 6:40 a.m. and it was determined the driver was intoxicated.

Seventeen-year-old Hilario Lopez-Xelhua was arrested for operating while intoxicated-1st offense, operating without a license-3rd offense, having open intoxicants inside the vehicle, speeding, and no seatbelt.
