MADISON (WKOW) -- With every pass, every screen and every shot, Badger junior forward Jacki Gulczynski carries her brother's honor with her. Gulczynski wears a white wristband on her left wrist which has her brother's initials and number written on the inside.

Lenny Gulczynski died on September 17, 2008 which serving the U.S. Army in Iraq. He was killed in a convoy accident at the young age of 19. Hearing of her brother's death has brought a grieving to Jacki's life that has never left her.

Jacki has chosen to carry on Lenny's memory with everything she does. Carrying herself on the court the way that he would, and putting in a full effort with every opportunity. Lenny's death has given Jacki a strong perspective on the important things in life.

"A turnover, a missed shot, it's not a big deal in the scheme of life," Gulczynski said. "What's important in life is family, relationships and you can never lose sight of that."
