Charges for man accused in Eau Claire County high speed chase

Eau Claire County (WQOW)- The man accused of leading Eau Claire County deputies on a high speed chase is now facing charges.

Keith Tidmarsh was arrested in Oshkosh last week. Law enforcement had been looking for him after a chase that hit speeds of 100 miles-per-hour.

Deputies heard about a yellow truck driving through yards in Eau Claire County and nearly hitting a child on a bike.  Deputies gave chase but lost sight of Tidmarsh in Big Falls County Park where they found the abandoned truck.

Court records show an open bottle of vodka was found behind the driver's seat.  Tidmarsh has admitted to drinking that night but denies driving.  He's been charged with three felonies including recklessly endangering safety.
