Homicide suspect scheduled to appear in court Wednesday


MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County court officials tell 27 News homicide suspect Dakota Black will make his initial appearance in court Wednesday.

Sun Prairie Police recommended a homicide charge last week in connection to the death of 5-year-old Brayden Turnbill.

Black is the boyfriend of Brayden Turnbill's mother. He's been held at the Dane County Jail on an unrelated parole warrant since the day Brayden was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The 5-year-old later passed away at UW Hospital.
