Blind dog and his seeing-eye dog brother are up for adoption

PHILADELPHIA (WKOW) --- Two special 8-month-old dogs are up for adoption in Philadelphia after being found roaming the streets on October 5.

One of the puppies is blind, and the other brother acts as his see-eye dog.

The dogs are lab and pit bull mix and are named Jeffrey and Jermaine.

The two have a strong bond that the animal shelter says you can see is very special.

When they are in a new environment together, the one leads the other around until he can get used to the new surroundings.

The animal shelter in Philadelphia says they have had hundreds of emails over the weekend after this picture went viral.

They hope by tomorrow the two will have a forever home.
