Metro bus driver attacked by teens

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police look for two suspects who battered a Madison Metro bus driver Wednesday evening.

One of the suspects threatened the driver while the bus was leaving the East Transfer Point.  The driver stopped the bus and ordered the two young men to leave.

All three got off the bus and that's when a confrontation took place.  Witnesses say the driver was thrown or knocked to the ground and struck by the men.

The driver needed to be taken to a hospital and was treated for head injuries.

The suspects are described as being black males in their teens.  One is approximately 5'11" with a slender build.  He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, baggy pants and a hat.  The second suspect stands approximately 6' tall and is around 220 pounds.  He had a medium length afro hairstyle and wore a light top and dark pants.
