Democrat pushes "Support Planned Parenthood" license plates

MADISON (WKOW) -- Rep. Chris Taylor (D-Madison) has introduced an assembly bill that would allow state residents to obtain license plates for their vehicles with the words "Support Planned Parenthood" written on them.

Rep. Taylor is the former Public Policy Director for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin.

The State Assembly passed a Republican bill creating a "Choose Life" license plate that would funnel money to an anti-abortion group two weeks ago.  But a spokesperson for Rep. Taylor says her bill is not directly in response to that vote, as she had originally introduced it in the 2011-12 legislative session.

  • If Wisconsin has a Choose Life license plate should it also have a Support Planned Parenthood plate?
