Aaron Rodgers says he felt more pain than expected last week

GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- Multiple people within the Green Bay Packers organization say they're pessimistic about Aaron Rodgers playing Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, ESPN reported Wednesday morning, citing a league source.

Rodgers has not been cleared to return more than five weeks after fracturing his left collarbone in a game against the Bears.

During his radio show Tuesday evening, Rodgers admitted the bone hurt him more than he expected while making simple movements on the practice field last week.

"We would need different results and different responses to be able to get on the field this week," he said.

Rodgers said he was able to throw the ball without discomfort, but felt pain during full-speed drill work like taking snaps and handing off with his left arm.
