MADISON, WI (WKOW) -- Former Badgers basketball star Jared Berggren made his first trip back to the Kohl Center Wednesday night since graduating last year.
Berggren is in Madison to rehab a knee injury suffered while playing professionally in Belgium.
The center had surgery on his meniscus Tuesday and expects to be out for about four weeks.
"It's a pretty minor thing," Berggren said. "I'll only be out for a month or so. So, I'm going to stick around Madison, rehab for a couple of weeks before heading back overseas, and hopefully I'll be back to 100 percent pretty quick here and playing in no time."
Berggren is averaging roughly eight points over his first 12 games with Oostende.
"Things are going really well," Berggren said. "Our team is doing really well. We're pretty much tied for first place in Belgium right now, so it's good."
