Cambridge boy wins national NFL 'Punt Pass and Kick' competition

DENVER (WKOW) -- He may be young, but a 7-year-old from Cambridge knows a thing of two about football.

Marco Damiani won the NFL's national Punt Pass and Kick competition in his age division.  He was one of 40 finalists from around the country competing this weekend in Denver.

On Sunday, he was recognized during the third quarter of the AFC Divisional Championship Game.

Each year, more than three million kids take part in the youth skills competition.  They do two punts, two passes and two kicks and are scored on distance and accuracy.

Two more Wisconsinites, Curtis Flannick of Menomonee Falls and Jenna Curtis of Webster also made the finals.  The trio represented the Green Bay Packers.

Congrats to all three!
