Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- It's estimated that 1.25 billion chicken wings will be eaten this Super Bowl Sunday.

If you need some chicken wing ideas to help host your family and friends for the Super Bowl we've got you covered. GFS Marketplace joins Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to discuss some buffalo chicken wing recipes.

Buffalo Chicken Football Pizza:
Start with a piece of Sienna Bakery Flat Bread (Trim the sides to resemble a football shape)
Combine 1 cup Marinara sauce and 3/4 cup hot sauce and use as a "Zesty" pizza sauce on your Flat Bread.  Add a layer of Mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
Heat Boneless Wing Dings (for more mild) or Wing Zings (for hotter flavor) in the oven for 30 minutes.  For extra heat, once they are cooked, dip them in hot sauce.  Top the Flat Bread with the Wing Dings/Zings, put in oven and bake until cheese bubbles.  Enjoy!

Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese:
Slow cook and shred chicken breast or use already shredded chicken and warm to 160 degrees.
Mix 1 cup Ranch sauce and 1/2 cup hot sauce and add to warmed chicken.  Add shredded cheddar cheese to chicken.
Butter one side of two piece of sourdough bread, fill with the chicken and cheese mixture and cook until golden brown.
For additional options, consider using a grilled pretzel bun or warmed Ciabatta bun instead of sourdough.
(Additional options to add include chopped celery, carrots, and blue cheese)

Buffalo Chicken Nachos:
Start with a tray of half tortilla chips and half Jalapeno potato chips.
Slow cook and shred chicken breast or use already shredded chicken and warm to 160 degrees.
Mix 1 cup Ranch sauce and 1/2 cup hot sauce and add to warmed chicken.
Top tortilla chips with chicken, add black olives, sour cream, guacamole, blue cheese crumbles, scallions and cheddar cheese.
Repeat first layer two more times.
