WI State Patrol recruiting troopers, inspectors

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol is recruiting new troopers and inspectors.

Anyone interested should fill out an online application at WiscJobs by February 21 and take a multiple choice exam which will take place at several locations around the state in February and March. Applicants will be notified of the results immediately, and those most qualified will move on.

Previous recruit classes have ranged between 35 and 45 cadets. The new class will begin training at the State Patrol Academy at Fort McCoy in July. Training will last 23 weeks. All recruits who complete the training will be sworn in as either a trooper or an inspector.
