NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKOW) -- Four people were killed in a plane crash in suburban Nashville Monday night.

WKRN-TV in Nashville reports the small plane went down just outside the pool area of a YMCA around 5 p.m. Members of the gym who were inside at the time were evacuated as a safety precaution.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the flight plan listed four people on board. Their identities have not been released.

In a statement, the FAA said the plane is a Gulfstream 690C that departed from Great Bend Municipal Airport in Great Bend, Kansas, and crashed 10 miles south of John C. Tune Airport in Nashville.
