MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A 44-year-old man is charged with a felony after a crash that injured a Milwaukee sports broadcaster.
Robert Harris is charged with causing injury while operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance.
In November, Harris ran a red light and stuck Steve "The Homer" True's car. True suffered a serious head injury in the crash. According to our affiliate WISN, Harris had cocaine in his system. The criminal complaint also states that Harris admitted that he was drinking.
True was released from the hospital two days following the crash and returned back to work a short time after. He works as a sports talk show host on Milwaukee's ESPN station WAUK, also does play-by-play for Marquette University basketball. True is also a former employee of WISN.
