Go purple on social media for World Cancer Day

MADISON (WKOW) --- It's World Cancer Day and many are turning their social media profile pictures purple.
Chevrolet said they will donate $1 for each Twitter or Facebook profile picture that gets turned purple on their website, up to $1 million dollars.

This year's World Cancer Day is called Debunk the Myths.  Those myths they list as the following.
1. We don't need to talk about cancer
2. Cancer, there are no signs or symptoms
3. There is nothing I can do about cancer
4. I don't have the right to cancer care.
