Agents bust Marathon Co. man with $2M in marijuana plants

 WAUSAU (WKOW) -- Drug agents confiscate more than $2 million in marijuana plants in Marathon County.

They say it's the largest drug seizure in the county. The Marathon County Sheriff's Office searched a home in Wausau and another in rural Athens after getting a tip from a local delivery company about a suspicious package.

WAOW-TV reports they found 727 marijuana plants, 1,466 grams of processed marijuana and several thousand dollars in cash and equipment in the Athens home. Agents found  more than 2,100 grams of processed marijuana and several thousand dollars in cash at the home in Wausau.

Bryan Arnold, 33, was arrested and charged with six felonies, including maintaining a drug trafficking place. He is in the Marathon County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
