Fitchburg man part of lawsuit against Target

Posted: Updated:
FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- A Fitchburg man is part of a class-action lawsuit filed against Target following its massive security breach last year.

The Wisconsin State Journal reports Kas Schafer joined Integrity First Bank in Wausau in filing the lawsuit.

It's the first of its kind to be filed in Wisconsin, but one of about 80 nationwide.

Late last year, hackers stole information from Target on 40 million credit and debit cards.
