Unsealed emails show inappropriate messages between former Walker aides

MADISON (WKOW) - Included in the more than 27,000 emails unsealed Wednesday are two emails that some would consider offensive being sent between Governor Scott Walker's former aides when he was Milwaukee County Executive.

The first email, sent in April 2010, pokes fun at those on welfare. Michael Best & Friedrich paralegal Kelly Teelin sent Walker's former aide Kelly Rindfleisch a photo of four dogs and a joke. The joke was about someone who tried signing her dogs up for welfare and said they were qualified for welfare because they are "mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and have no frigging clue who their Daddys are. They expect me to feed them, provide them with housing and medical care, and feel guilty because they are dogs."

Rindfleisch replied by writing, "That is hilarious. And so true."

In July 2010, Walker's former Chief of Staff Tom Nardelli forwarded an email to Rindfleisch and others making a joke about being a Democrat.

The joke is about someone who has a nightmare about turning into a black, Jewish homosexual, among other things. The email concludes, "I can handle being a black, disabled, one armed, drug-addicted, Jewish homosexual on a pacemaker who is HIV positive, bald, orphaned, unemployed, lives in a slum, and has a Mexican boyfriend, but please, Oh dear God, please don't tell me I'm a Democrat!"
