Rabbits need a home too, meet Charity!

Posted: Updated:
Dogs and cats usually get most of the attention at local animal shelters, but rabbits need some-bunny to love them too.  February is adopt-a-rabbit month, so Gayle Viney with the Dane County Humane Society dropped by Wake Up Wisconsin to introduce us to Charity.  The beautiful bunny has amazingly soft fur and a great personality.  She feels like velvet and is housed with two of her sisters.

They do not need to be adopted together, but Charity would love a bunny friend if possible.  Charity is spayed and litter box trained, she loves attention and being cuddled.

As part of the month, DCHS is holding Bunny Bonanza on Saturday, February 22.  It runs from noon until 4 p.m.  Visitors can enjoy games, a silent auction and the opportunity to meet lots of available bunnies outside their kennels.  Rabbit experts will be on hand to answer any of your questions.
