Recall: Teething toys sold at Target

Posted: Updated:
SAN DIEGO, CA (WKOW) -- Infantino is recalling some teething toys, exclusively sold at Target, due to a choking hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says consumers should stop using the Go Gaga Squeeze & Teethe Coco the Monkey. The product was sold at Target stores nationwide and online from December 2012 through January 2014.

The product, with the model number 206-647, is being recalled because the tail of the monkey can pose a choking hazard to young children. There has been seven reports of infants choking or gagging on the monkey's tail. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled product away from infants and contact Infantino to receive a free replacement toy.

If you have this product, call Infantino toll-free at 888-808-3111 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can also go the company's website and click on Recall Information on the home page.
