Dunn Co. (WQOW) -Gridlock on the interstate in Dunn County, as fresh snow sent cars and even semis spinning into the ditch Friday.

Late Friday night the State Patrol shut down both lanes of I-94 eastbound near mile marker 37 as crews worked to pull out an overturned LP tanker and semi.

Parts of I-94 looked like a parking lot Friday afternoon. The State Patrol says there were as many as ten crashes, including a large pile up involving six cars and a semi. A State Patrol cruiser, responding to help, got hit from behind.

Despite all the accidents the State Patrol says no one had to be taken to the hospital. During some points Friday night traffic along 94 was backed up for over three miles.

Dunn Co. (WQOW) - The interstate looks more like a parking lot in Dunn County after traffic on I-94 had to be re-routed.

State Patrol says at least six cars and a semi slid into each other near mile marker 37, near Menomonie. There was even a state patrol car that got rear-ended, but authorities say it was minor and no one was hurt. Traffic is still being re-routed between Menomonie and the Knapp exit.

State Patrol says there were between eight and 10 separate crashes in that area. The westbound lane is also slow-going and down to one lane of traffic. Thankfully no one has been taken to the hospital.

Dunn Co. (WQOW) - The Wisconsin State Patrol says all lanes of I-94 eastbound are closed at mile marker 37, near Menomonie, due to numerous crashes.

Suggested detour: Eastbound traffic will take Exit 28 to WIS 128, go north on WIS 128 to US 12, east on US 12 to WIS 25, north on WIS 25 back to I-94.
