Fall Creek (WQOW) - An area town is getting a place for families to take their kids to play. Thanks to Tiny Tots, Inc., a not-for-profit business, in Fall Creek will have a children's center. It will be a place for families to bring their kids to enjoy a variety of activities. Renovation at the former church building began earlier this week. Sally Ellison, the owner of Tiny Tots, said she saw the community needed a playhouse of its own after encountering the need first-hand.
"Just finding places for young children under kindergarten to go, is very difficult to find in this area. If you live in the bigger towns, you have all those resources, but out here when you're in the thick of the woods, you're kind of stuck in the middle of nowhere. So, it's a friendly resource for gathering," Ellison said.
Tiny Tots is set to open May 1st. Sally Ellison said admission for children is $3. The fees will offset rent, utility expenses and activity supplies. She said all staff will be volunteers.
