Legislative aide pleads guilty to election fraud

Madison (WQOW) - The aide for a local lawmaker has pleaded guilty to election fraud.

Marcie Malszycki is an aide for Representative Warren Petryk, but his office says the incident happened before she worked for him.

Malszycki was accused of voting in Onalaska in 2008 and 2010 when her home address was in Madison.  According to the Wisconsin State Journal, she reached a plea agreement.  She will enter a first offender's program.  The State Journal says, if she meets all of the requirements, the election fraud charge would be dismissed.
