Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Badgers will begin their Big Ten tournament journey Friday night at 5:30 p.m. against either Minnesota or Penn State. Wisconsin is the No. 2 seed.

The Badgers earned a first-round bye for the 14th consecutive season. That is a Big Ten record. Wisconsin actually finished tied for second with Michigan State at 12-6 in Big Ten play. However, the Badgers earned the tiebreaker thanks to a head-to-head win over the Spartans on Feb. 9.
