Rusk Co. authorities need help locating armed robbery suspect


Ladysmith (News Release) - On 01/15/14 at about 7:49 p.m., an unidentified man entered the Ladysmith Family Dollar Store. After the man walked over to the service counter, a second unidentified man entered the store with a blue bandana covering his face, brandishing a handgun.

The second man approached the service counter, and while pointing the handgun at the cashier, demanded the store's money. While the robbery was occurring, the suspected man in the attached photo walked to the back of the store to preoccupy the cashier's co-worker, who was stocking shelves.   

The Rusk County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the male suspect in the attached photo.

This male is further described as follows:

Height:                                5'05" – 5'09"

Weight:                               175

Hair:                                    Brown

Eyes:                                   Blue
