JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- One person is transported to the hospital after two semi trucks were involved in an overnight accident near Janesville.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says the accident happened around 12:24 a.m. Tuesday, possibly due to the road conditions. One semi ended up in the median of I-39. The other rolled over and was blocking all northbound lanes of the interstate. Troopers say both semis were traveling in the same direction.
One of the drivers was taken to the hospital.
All lanes were reopened around 3:55 a.m.
A second accident in Rock County on I-39 just before that, around 11:25 p.m. Monday, involved a Fed Ex semi truck. That scene was cleared just before 2:00 a.m. Tuesday. There's no information on any injuries in that accident.
