President's approval rating up in Wisconsin

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- President Barack Obama's approval rating moved up to 47% among registered Wisconsin voters in the latest Marquette University law school poll, released Wednesday.

The president's approval rating was 44% in Wisconsin in January.

Before the troubled health care program rollout last fall President Obama had a 49% approval rating in the state.

The latest poll also shows greater support for health care reform, but still only 39% of those surveyed have a favorable view of the overhaul, with 50% having an unfavorable view.

The poll of 801 registered voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
