Door County buried in snow

Posted: Updated:
DOOR COUNTY (WKOW) -- It may technically be spring, but Wisconsin is still getting snow.

Shovels and snow blowers were out in full force Thursday north of Green Bay.

More than half a foot of snow fell overnight in parts of  Door County.

Many people spent the day digging out.

With snow on the ground in late March, patience is wearing thin for many.

"I've lived here for 48 years. I've seen snow like this before, but not this late in the year. Two years ago it was 80 degrees," says Rick Rosenburg.

Laura Haveneyer agrees,  "I thought at this point all I want is a mosquito bite. That would be great!"

One man even said if the snow sticks around any longer, he's already going to start his Christmas shopping.
