April snow storm moves out, but it left its mark

Eau Claire, WI (WQOW) - The powerful April snow storm has come to an end in western Wisconsin, but it sure left its mark.

Snow totals will range from 3 to 12 inches across the Chippewa Valley, with the highest reports coming from the north and west.  In Eau Claire we ended up with close to 8 inches, even 9 in some neighborhoods.

Hayward reports 11.6", Haugen 9.5", Chetek 6.7", Mondovi 5.0" and Independence 3.0".
