Chippewa County to host spring recycling collection on Saturday

Chippewa County (WQOW) - Spring cleaning may mean a lot of work, which is why Chippewa County wants to lend a hand.

The county is hosting a spring recycling collection at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds Saturday. The event begins at 8 a.m. and runs until noon. Electronics can be recycled for free as well as scrap metal. Household hazardous waste will also be accepted for free with the exception of fluorescent bulbs and oil filters. Appliances will be accepted as well for a fee of $10 a piece.
