Barron County (News Release) - UPDATE: Attached is a photo that we are requesting the public assistance with in identifying.  This subject committed an armed robbery at the Dairy State Bank in Haugen on Friday afternoon.

Anyone with information should contact the Barron County Sheriff's Dept at 715-537-3106.

Barron County (WQOW) - More than 24 hours after it happened and a bank robbery suspect is still on the run.

The Dairy State Bank in Haugen was held up at gunpoint Friday afternoon around 2:30.  The Barron County Sheriff's Department says no one was hurt.  Detectives say the suspect is a man, but no other details are being released right now.

The sheriff's department says that while a suspect with a gun is always a danger, they don't believe the public is at risk at this time.

On Friday April 11 at 2:37 pm the Barron County Sheriff's Dept received a call of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Dairy State Bank Branch in Haugen.

Deputies from the Barron County Sheriff's Department and the FBI responded to the scene.

Upon arrival it was discovered a lone male had entered the bank, displayed a handgun and took an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during this robbery.

At this time this case remain active and is under investigation by the Barron County Sheriff's Department and the FBI.  No other details can be released at this time.
