Menomonie (News Release) - The School District of the Menomonie Area has selected Joe Zydowsky as its new District Administrator.

Zydowsky is the current superintendent at the Cadott School District.

The Menomonie School District says Zydowsky will start on July 1, 2014. The contract details will be released once it has gone to the board for approval on April 28.

Zydowsky told WQOW News 18, "I am very grateful for the wonderful experiences that I had in Cadott.  The stakeholders in Cadott have much to be proud of with such a terrific school district.

I am also very honored to have been selected as the next superintendent in Menomonie.  My family and I are looking forward to new challenges and many wonderful opportunities in the Menomonie Area School District and community."

When WQOW News 18 asked what made Zydowsky stand out from the other candidates, Menomonie School Board President Colleen Davis made this statement:

"Joe had an excellent read on the district. Our visions are in line and we believe he is the person to be successful in Menomonie for hopefully a long time. He was very intuitive with our kids and staff during his day in the district and he is full of energy and ready to go. We look forward to working with him and are thrilled he and his family are going to be part of community."
