Rockin' for a Cure to benefit Lou Gehrig's Disease cure

MADISON (WKOW) -- In its 14th year, the Rockin' for a Cure Benefit will take place in Madison.

It's a benefit to fund research for Lou Gehrig's Disease and a cure. It started in memory of a local musician who passed away from the disease. Chris Komnick and John Weekes from the benefit join Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to talk about the event.

It's going on Saturday, April 12 at the Sheraton Hotel Madison at 706 John Nolen Drive. There will be live music, appetizers, a silent auction and much more at the event.
