TOWN OF BURKE (WKOW) -- A 41-year-old Washington man was arrested in Dane County for OWI-5th offense.

Curtis Nelson, of Elk, Washington, was driving "all over the road," according to another motorist on Highway 51.  It happened shortly before 12:30 Saturday morning.  The other driver called 911 to report Nelson, giving a partial license plate number and a description of the reckless vehicle.

A Dane County Sheriff's deputy caught up to Nelson's vehicle and made contact with him in the town of Burke.

Nelson refused field sobriety tests and a warrant was secured for a blood draw.  He was booked into the Dane County Jail on the felony offense of OWI-5th.  He was also cited for operating after revocation and failure to install an Ignition Interlock
