Three arrested in Rock Co. heroin bust

JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- The Rock County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team was in the City of Janesville Tuesday morning serving a search warrant.

The warrant was the result of a special investigation into the distribution and sale of heroin from an address on S. Main Street.

Deputies from the Special Investigations Unit and the Janesville Street Crimes Unit assisted in the search warrant.  During the search of the house, approximately half an ounce of suspected heroin was discovered, along with several hundred prescription drugs, three ounces of marijuana, and drug paraphernalis.  Also seized in the search of the house was a High Point 9mm handgun and a switchblade knife.

In total, three people were taken into custody.  James Gillard (34) was arrested for:
  •     Delivery of heroin - 2 counts
  •     Maintaining a drug trafficking place - 3 counts
  •     Possession with intent to deliver marijuana - 1 count
  •     Possession of drug paraphernalia - 1 count
  •     Felon in possession of firearm - 1 count
  •     Probation violation - 1 count

Trisha Kienbaum (35) was arrested for:
  •     Maintaining a drug trafficking place - 1 count
  •     Possession of drug paraphernalia - 1 count
  •     Possession with intent to deliver marijuana - 1 count

James Norstrem (28) was arrested for:
  •     Possession of marijuana - 1 count
  •     Possession of drug paraphernalia - 1 count
  •     Probation violation - 1 count
Gillard, Kienbaum and Norstrem were all taken to the Rock County Jail and are scheduled for jail court Wednesday afternoon.
