RHINELANDER (WKOW) -- So much for spring in Wisconsin's northwoods, as some parts got as much as 15 inches of snow.
About a dozen school districts in north-central Wisconsin canceled classes today. It was the fifth snow day in Rhinelander, which is more than double for a typical winter. Some kids are even tired of the days off.
"Every morning that there is a snow day like this, I always hope that there is school. I like to play in the snow, but I'm pretty much over it," said student Jack Seidl.
The canceled days mean the school year will cut into the summer. The snow is also affecting spring sports, as many team are forced to move their practices indoors.
