Police looking for thieves on Eau Claire's north side

Eau Claire (WQOW) - Eau Claire Police are asking for your help to solve a string of break-ins on the north side.

In the last week, there have been seven break-ins to unlocked sheds, garages and cars near Jeffers Road.  Thieves stole everything from wallets and eyeglasses to a computer printer and a propane tank.

"More concerning are sets of keys that were left in vehicles," said Community Relations Officer Kyle Roder. "They didn't take the vehicle but they took the keys which then allow the individual access to houses, business, and other vehicles potentially."

If you have information call Eau Claire Police at 839-4972 or text ECPD and your tip to 847411.
