Chippewa Falls (News Release) - The McDonell Area Catholic School (MACS) system and Interim President Very Reverend Edward Shuttleworth are pleased to announce the hiring of Jeffrey Heinzen as the new President effective July 1, 2014. Mr. Heinzen is currently Director of the Office for Marriage and Family Life for the La Crosse Diocese. “I’m delighted to welcome Jeff Heinzen to the MACS community,” says Fr. Shuttleworth. “I am confident he will serve well as president of MACS. Jeff brings with him a deep love for the Lord and his Church, excellent organizational skills, and a tremendous enthusiasm for Catholic Education.”

Mr. Heinzen is a graduate of St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN and holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.
The past several weeks Mr. Heinzen has had the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff along with community members from the Chippewa Falls area. “The faculty and staff along with community members have shared the positive aspects of the MACS system and also the challenges. There is a synergy that I am looking forward to working with as we enter into the 2014 – 15 school year.”

The McDonell Area Catholic Schools recently celebrated their 130 Anniversary. We welcome all families to be a part of our school community no matter their faith or financial means. In partnership with our parents, we form the whole child in support of our values and mission. Our vision of the whole child consists of a lifelong learner, who upon graduation, is academically prepared for post-secondary education and career, grounded in relationship with Jesus Christ, balanced physically and emotionally, and actively engages as servant leaders in family, parish, and civic communities.
