Driver of rollover crash found at a home after three hour search

Buffalo Co. (News Release) - On Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2:55 a.m., the Buffalo County Sheriff' Department received a report of a one vehicle rollover on County Road Y south of County Road HH in the Town of Naples, near the Trempealeau County line.

Deputies arrived on scene and found a 2002 Chevrolet Corvette on its roof in the southbound ditch. Investigation showed the vehicle left the roadway, struck a powerpole and rolled over. After searching for the injured driver for approximately three hours, authorities located Jarrett A. Van Vleet, 45, of Mondovi, at a residence. He was located by Mondovi Ambulance to an Eau Claire hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting Buffalo County at the scene were Mondovi Fire Department, Mondovi Ambulance, Mondovi Police Department, Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department and K9 unit. The accident remains under investigation by the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department.
