SLIDESHOW: Peregrine falcons banded at Mayo Clinic

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- There was a lot of squawking that took place at Mayo Clinic on Wednesday.

Three peregrine falcon chicks were plucked from their human-made nest atop the Mayo Building. In front of a crowd in Geffen Auditorium, they were numbered, banded and given a name from Mayo Clinic's 150 year past.

NewsCenter's Ali Killam captured the falcon chicks on camera and will tell you when the chicks are expected to take flight on the NewsCenter at 5.
