Robin Williams has checked into a rehab facility in Minnesota to help himself stay sober, TMZ reports.

Williams has enrolled in a program at the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Lindstrom that helps recovering addicts maintain their long-term sobriety, according to TMZ. He will reportedly be staying for several weeks.

"After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud," his rep told TMZ.

Williams has spoken openly about his struggles with addiction. In the 1980s, he gave up cocaine and alcohol and stayed sober for 20 years, before entering rehab in 2006.
